It’s National Apprenticeship Week! Rosedene’s apprentices are the future of early years education, and we’re incredibly proud of the hard work, passion, and dedication they put into everything they do. This week, we’re giving them the spotlight and showcasing just how amazing they truly are.
Across all our nurseries, we’ll be taking part in the National Apprenticeship Week 2025’s (NAW2025) daily themes and sharing the excitement across our social media channels. If you’re not already following us, find Rosedene’s Instagram & Facebook page to get the updates!
Here’s a sneak peek at how we’ll be celebrating this week:
Monday - ‘Skills for Life’ - To kick things off, we’re celebrating the “Skills for Life” theme by sharing some exciting footage from last week’s Celebration Apprentice Afternoon Tea 🍵🎥 We had a super afternoon bringing together new, current, and past apprentices from all our settings to reflect on their time with Rosedene, share advice with each other, and enjoy some delicious refreshments. Plus, we got our hands dirty with some fun forest school activities, learning new skills and making memories! 🌳✨
One of our apprentices reflected: “The support I have received throughout my apprenticeship has been incredible. From hands-on training to mentorship from experienced professionals, I have felt guided and encouraged since the day I started."
“This event was a fantastic opportunity to meet other apprentices who, like me, are passionate about early years education and are working towards a career we can truly be proud of. It was inspiring to share experiences, learn from one another, and see just how much support is available to help us succeed in this industry.”
Tuesday - ‘Employer Tuesday’ - On Tuesday, we’re shining the spotlight on Employer Tuesday! This day is all about showcasing the amazing experiences our apprentices have had with us. We’ll be sharing some heartfelt testimonials from our apprentices, and we’ll also be taking a trip down memory lane to look at the history of apprenticeships at Rosedene.
Wednesday - ‘Apprentice Wednesday’ - Wednesday is all about Apprentice Wednesday, and we’re so excited to celebrate every single apprentice across our settings! We’ll be sharing their most memorable moments and highlighting the valuable skills they’ve gained along the way. Whether it’s learning how to lead a group of children or mastering the art of storytelling, we’re incredibly proud of how far they’ve come.
Thursday - ‘Apprentice Framework’ - On Thursday, we’ll be talking about our Apprentice Framework—a key part of our apprenticeship programme that helps each of our apprentices feel supported and empowered. We’ll share how we provide guidance, mentorship, and all the tools needed for success, along with the exciting progression opportunities available as our apprentices continue to grow within Rosedene.
Friday - ‘Celebration Friday’ - Finally, we wrap up the week with Celebration Friday! 🎉 We can’t wait to show you all the fun, learning, and excitement happening across our nurseries as we celebrate apprenticeship week.
