ROSEDENE EASTERSIDE EXPRESS THEIR HUNGER FOR LITERATURE WITH ROALD DAHL DAY KITCHEN TAKEOVER.
Rosedene Easterside celebrated national Roald Dahl Day with a kids’ kitchen takeover based on the author’s work.
What an amazing way to celebrate the writer’s birthday in style, with children at the nursery reading some of the world’s bestselling children’s novels and cooking dishes inspired by Dahl’s work.
The children made and then sampled a Bruce Bogtrotter’s style chocolate cake, from Matilda while talking about the magical youngster’s adventures.
Gemma, manager at our Easterside setting said: “The children thoroughly enjoyed being in the kitchen and making a delicious chocolatey cake.
“Our curious learning approach sees children learn a range of life skills through a range of activities, including exploratory play and trying different experiences.
“Our hands-on approach has seen the children develop an interest in Roald Dahl and his amazing storytelling novels.”
