We’re thrilled to share that Rosedene Nurseries was recently recognised as one of the UK’s top SME apprenticeship employers, coming in at an impressive 5th place! Even more exciting, we are proud to be the 5th top nursery employer in the UK. We had the honour of attending a special event at the House of Commons in Westminster, celebrating alongside 49 other standout employers from across the country.
This recognition puts Rosedene at the forefront of nursery education providers when it comes to apprenticeships, and we couldn’t be more proud! Our apprenticeship programme, which currently supports 25 apprentices, is all about giving our apprentices the training, hands-on experience, and skills they need to become fully qualified in early years education within just two years.
The recent rankings of the Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers and Top 50 SME Apprenticeship Employers for 2024 shine a light on businesses that go above and beyond in creating apprenticeship opportunities, embracing diversity, and helping their apprentices achieve great results. At Rosedene, we’re dedicated to doing just that – and this recognition reflects our commitment.
Alice McCullagh, our Managing Director, summed it up perfectly: “Being named one of the best SME apprenticeship employers in the country, and the top in our sector, is a huge honour for us. The event at the House of Commons was a day to remember! We’re so proud to offer these opportunities to young people in our region who are passionate about starting a career in childcare.”
She continued, “Our apprentices are the future of our sector, and we’re committed to providing them with top-notch training and support. At Rosedene, we’re passionate about the care we provide to our children, and that’s all thanks to our incredible team. Investing in our apprentices is just one way we continue to make a difference in early years education.”
One of our apprentices, Rya from Rosedene Ormesby, shared her thoughts on her experience: “I was offered plenty of support through my apprenticeship and was always able to ask for help or any resources that I needed. Rosedene held an apprentice day for all apprentices to meet up and get to know each other, which was a lovely experience as we were able to discuss how we felt our apprenticeship was going and offer and receive advice.”
We’re excited to keep growing and offering valuable career opportunities while supporting the next generation of childcare professionals.
