Rosedene's Wrapped 2023

Welcome to our Rosedene 2023 Wrapped blog where we take a moment to reflect on the wonderful year we've had at our nurseries. It's been a year filled with so much curiosity, laughter, growth, and learning, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to have shared it with our families and team.

Throughout the year, we've had so much fun engaging in activities, from outdoor play to arts and crafts, music and dance, and so much more. We've also had the pleasure of watching our little ones grow, develop & hit important milestones.

As we wrap up the year, we want to thank you for entrusting us with the care and early years education of your children. We look forward to another wonderful year ahead, filled with new adventures, challenges, and opportunities to learn and grow together.

Here are some of our top highlights of 2023.

We honoured the coronation of King Charles III with tea parties across all our settings.

In partnership with MFC Foundation, we hosted a Family Fun Day with Roary the Lion, including penalty shoot-outs and a day filled with sports activities.

Graduation was a time of celebration as we recognised the achievements of our pre-school children throughout their Rosedene journey, celebrating over 180 graduating children ahead of their new adventures at school.

Rosedene Ormesby nursery received a Good rating from Ofsted! We celebrated with the children and team working together to create a flower display.

Holiday club took part in a visit to the Great North Air Ambulance, where the children learnt about the importance of the charity and even saw the helicopter in action!

During the summer celebrated a HUGE milestone for Rosedene Guisborough, which was their 20th birthday, where we hosted a Carnival themed event!

Our chosen charity in Autumn was Debra UK, which is a charity supporting a rare genetic disorder that affects the skin. Thanks to our families who raised over £600 for this amazing charity! The children worked together to create butterflies and then put together a wonderful display.

As the year came to an end, the excitement continued as we launched Rosedene Redhill! We welcomed the Stockton Mayor to officially open and meet families in our new nursery.

We can’t wait for 2024. Thank you for being a part of our nursery family, and we look forward to continuing this journey with you.
