What we got up to in May!

A lot happens across our nurseries on a daily basis, so we’ve rounded up some highlights of the past month to share with you all of what’s been happening at Rosedene…

Spring finally came around! Which meant our nurseries were filled with activities to celebrate not only the new season, but also the Coronation of King Charles and International Nurses Day!

For International Nurse’s Day, we visited a range of hospitals (including North Tees Hospital and Friarage Hospital Northallerton) where the children were able to meet some of the amazing workers and learn more about their roles and what they do for us in our community. Back at the nurseries we hosted activities focused around roles in the community that help us such as nurses, doctors, firefighters and the police. With a lot of dress up and role play thrown in too! One of our children at Northallerton even remarked “my mummy wears a uniform like that and helps people get better”

For the Coronation of King Charles it was a mixture of tea parties, painting, dress up and learning more about the Royal Family. Parents joined in on the fun as well across some of our nurseries.

In June we’re celebrating Fathers Day in the nurseries, inviting some of our dads to come along and join Rosedene’s Forest School sessions. Then there’s also World Ocean Day, and for the creepy crawly loving children – Insect Week! Rosedene are also taking bookings for an action-packed 6 week Summer Holiday Club for children aged 4-11 years.

Open days are happening across our nurseries in June & July. So if you’d like to come along to see how we could best support your child with early years childcare, just pop us an email at bookings@rosedenenurseries.co.uk
