This September, we welcomed over 100 new children to our Rosedene family. We were delighted that most of these children were eligible for the new government funded childcare, to support parents with childcare costs for children from 9months+.
Following on from the success of this funding for parents, we are pleased to share that we have a limited number of funded spaces remaining for 2025 across several of our settings. At Rosedene, we strive to provide every child with a nurturing, engaging environment, offering a unique range of learning experiences and activities.
Here’s what makes our approach to early childhood education so special:
Outdoor Curriculum
We value the importance of outdoor learning and play. Our outdoor curriculum includes hands-on activities and experiences that boost physical health, encourage curiosity, and build essential social skills. Children explore, play, and learn in outdoor settings, which we believe are key to creating happy, confident learners.
Personalised Learning Experiences
Rosedene recognise that every child is different. Our long-standing, qualified teams understand the individual needs of every child and tailor the learning experiences to meet the needs of each child.
Forest School
Our Forest School program introduces children to the wonders of the natural world. From exploring local woods to learning about plants and animals, our little adventurers develop confidence, resilience, and a love for nature. Outdoor play also encourages teamwork and creativity, supporting children’s growth into confident and independent individuals.
Healthy Kitchen
Nutrition is essential to early development, and at Rosedene, we prioritise healthy eating through our Healthy Kitchen initiative. We provide fresh, balanced meals and snacks daily, teaching children to enjoy nutritious food from a young age. It’s not just about eating well – it’s about developing lifelong healthy habits.
Parent Events
We believe that family engagement is a key part of your child’s learning journey. That’s why we regularly host parent events, from family days to special seasonal celebrations. These events provide opportunities to connect with our team, meet other parents, and actively participate in your child’s nursery experience.
Community Partnerships
Rosedene’s partnerships with local organisations give children an enriched learning experience. Whether it’s visiting the local library, meeting local heroes, or supporting community charities, we’re passionate about teaching children the importance of community, kindness, and giving back.
School Readiness
Transitioning to primary school is a big step, and we’re here to make it smooth and enjoyable. Our school readiness program focuses on building the skills children need for a successful school start, such as language, communication, self-care, and independence. We aim to ensure every child leaves Rosedene feeling prepared and excited for the next chapter. Rosedene have strong partnerships with our local schools to ensure a smooth transition for each child at the end of their nursery journey.
Apply for Government Funding – Important Dates
If you’re interested in securing a nursery space for your child at Rosedene, you must apply for your government-funded childcare code via the Childcare Choices website. To secure your child’s place at Rosedene, please ensure we receive your code by 9th December, before we close for Christmas.
